I love Pinterest. I do. I love all the personalization of the boards, the innate organization of the curation process and the sheer amount of research you can do in such a short period. I also love to read a good magazine. Flipping through articles and photos until something catches my eye and the smooth way the layout carries you through the journey from front to back. What if I told you there is a website that is a beautiful marriage of Pinterest on steroids and your favorite magazine. Do I have your attention? (If not, focus!)
MODE is an online magazine that rolls out innovative, clickable formatting. What looks like one pin is eight or ten or even twelve related resources. MODE has gorgeously strategized content and beautiful photos. I have fallen a little in love.
Behind the scenes MODE employs a group of seasoned writers of various backgrounds to go out and find what’s hot and what’s not. These writers put together “stories” of content on relevant subjects. A savvy approach and I was impressed.

Like the Remington Razor Guy that bought the company (late seventies reference) not only am I a fan, but I recently was accepted to be one of their writers. It has made me giggly pitching ideas and searching out content and photos. Please check out the stories I have published so far and have a look around at all the other fantastic content.

You can find subject writers from photography to fitness, and you can create an account to save all your favorites. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Sometimes the first step to making change in your life is to get inspired. Head to MODE and pick a subject in an area of your life you are looking to grow. Once your brain starts seeing great photos of workouts or healthy foods, a motivating hormone dump occurs!
