I hope you’re ready because episode 49 of The Junk You Should Know Show was very, VERY special. Dr. Heather Denniston mentioned The Fitness Marshall a number of times as she excitedly awaited the interview. So we’re equally “over the moon” ecstatic to share with you!

Caleb Marshall aka The Fitness Marshall

With nearly 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, Caleb Marshall has completely transformed his brand from a local cardio class to a worldwide dance fitness stage. Caleb humbly shares how that wasn’t an overnight success.

Escaping in Dance

Dancing was never forced onto Caleb as an extra-curricular activity growing up. In fact, it was his safe place to escape to.

The one place I didn’t feel like an outcast was when I was on-stage performing in a dance recital or dance class.

Caleb Marshall (5:49, The Junk You Should Know Show Ep. 49)

When he was challenged to become an instructor in college, Caleb questioned his capabilities. Was he good enough to teach?

Well, one thing was clear, when he slipped on that instructor headset a seed had been planted, which would one day become The Fitness Marshall brand.

The alignment between performing and making himself and others happy through dance fitness training was undeniable.

The Shift (11:18)

When you watch this episode of The Junk You Should Know Show, take a moment and really soak up the shift that Caleb mentions.

Can you think of a time in your life where you shifted the focus away from yourself and onto others? What kind of impact did it have for you and those other people?

When You Don’t Feel Like Doing All the Things (12:11)

Nobody is at a 100% every single day. We all have those mornings where we just don’t feel like working.

Caleb is completely transparent with his battle with anxiety and when those days hit…well, he just doesn’t give himself permission to give up.

Make sure to watch this section. What resource could you use to pull you out of that funk?
