Special guest, TRX fitness expert Miguel Vargus stopped by on 8/17 episode of The Junk You Should Know Show. His journey from model to TRX Training and Development Manager (Education and Content Team) and Senior Course Instructor started almost 9 years ago and he’s still so passionate about TRX today. In this episode, Dr. Heather Denniston focuses on the value of suspension training, more importantly, the TRX System.
What’s interesting is the TRX Suspension Training was created out of necessity. The founder and creator, Navy SEAL Squadron Commander Randy Hetrick, had to use his ingenuity to rig a training system to stay “mission-ready” and work his pulling muscles. With only a jiu-jitsu belt and some gear he had while deployed, the TRX System was born.
QUICK NOTE ABOUT THIS EPISODE: You may come down with the case of “cuteness overload.” You’ll have to see for yourself.

When it comes to functional training, you know that Dr. Denniston is adamant about training for “life and longevity.” At its core, the TRX System helps you do exactly that.
